I have over 20 years' experience working within the Residential Property sector and the Equity Release industry.

I manage all aspects of the smooth day to day running of the Equity Release Department. I advise clients on the legal implications of the equity release schemes. I specialise in the buying and selling of property, technical equity release cases, such as matters where the property has unregistered deeds, restrictions, related lease extension matters or any technical title query. I also advise the clients or introducers should any query or concerns be raised regarding a case.

Susan is our Head of Operations.  She brings a wealth of management and organisational skills from her years of running teams who have to deliver an exceptional client service. Susan will be undertaking a vital role at Barton Law assisting and providing overall supervision of the teams and ensuring the smooth running of Barton Law.

Susan enjoys spending time with her friends and family – including her two crazy dogs.  She also volunteers for Avon & Somerset Police Force, as a victim support chaperone.

I currently oversee a team of 4 (Ellie, Danielle, George and Naomi) who I proactively work with on a day to day basis.  We work alongside mainly independent financial advisers who I have regular calls with to uphold a good working relationship.  In the past, I have also worked alongside larger companies.

I will always show all our client’s courtesy and respect to maintain the best customer service possible.

In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with my friends and family and going to the gym.

Number of years ER/Property experience - I have been in the ER department since 2013.

I supervise a team a four whilst dealing with my own caseload of Equity Release transactions. I deal with a number of clients, financial advisors, solicitors and different lenders on a daily basis and carry out my duties of supervisor.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, and family and taking my dog Luna out for long walks.

I advise clients on the more complex equity release matters where this is a title related matter that is to be completed simultaneously with the equity release mortgage.  I will liaise with the 3^rd party solicitor that is acting in respect of the related matter on my client’s behalf so that both matters can be progressed as swiftly as possible. This includes preparing transfer and land registry documentation.

In my spare time I like to play tabletop role-playing games and strategy games
